Comparison with other fuels

Briquette is a high density fuel derived from agricultural waste without addition of any binder. It is the solution to the increasing energy crisis and decreasing availibilty of other fuels such as wood, coal, lignite, etc...

Every year India produces millions of tons of agricultural waste which is the raw material of briquettes. Briquettes are formed by feeding this material into a hopper. It is then forced fed between punch and die resulting in high compression that generates a pressure of 1200 kg/sq. cm., which generates heat.

Existing oil fired boilers can convert to solid fire fuel boilers with the pay back as fast as 6 months.
